ACSSC-TAMUCC kicked off in 2015 through Erin Adam's leadership with a strong commitment to conservation and a power packed group of dedicated members and officers. Their focus has been on marine debris and how it impacts cetaceans so their activities have included collaboration with a local oyster restoration project and countless beach clean ups! ACS-TAMUCC students also organize documentary film screenings, guest speakers, and collaborative events with the Texas State Aquarium Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.  The group ends each year with a Pod Party and hosts fun social events such as bonfire meetings.
