Educational Programs
Research plays a key role in the purpose of the American Cetacean Society. To encourage this the Orange County Chapter supports research in the form of modest grants of money to approved projects. Applications are available from the Chapter President at: email

Education is an important objective of the American Cetacean Society. The fate of the whales, dolphins and porpoises on earth ultimately rests in the hands of the children. In keeping with this idea, the following programs are offered: School lectures, information booths at fairs, on boat lectures by trained naturalists, and informational lectures at the general meetings each month.(See meetings).
